         Number Sixteen

This is one of the more picturesque golf holes on the course. From an elevated tee to a downhill fairway, the temptation may be to grip it and rip it. But a tee shot left could be in the tree line and there is one small oak in the right rough that can play havoc with your approach shot. Plus there is a lateral hazard on the right. This green slopes away from you. Take one or two clubs less on this downhill approach. Once on the green remember that everything in the rear breaks towards the clubhouse, on the other side of the railroad tracks.
